These terms apply every time you request and receive a service through Turshid. They are in addition to our general Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Turshid's role

Turshid is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent service providers. Turshid does not carry out the work itself and is not a party to the agreement between you and the provider you hire. The provider is responsible for the work, its quality and its warranty.

2. Your service request

  • Give accurate and complete information: the exact location, property details, photos and documents.
  • You must own the property or have the owner's permission for the work, and you are responsible for any approval the building owner, community or authority requires from you.
  • Your request is shown to approved service providers so they can send proposals before the deadline you set.

3. Proposals and hiring a provider

  • Compare the proposals, the price, the timeline, the quotation and the provider's reviews before you decide.
  • When you hire a provider, an agreement is made between you and that provider on the scope, price and timeline of their proposal.

4. Milestones and payments

  • You pay the provider directly (cash, bank transfer or cheque) for each agreed milestone. Turshid does not collect or hold payments for services.
  • Approve a milestone only after you have checked that the work is done. The provider confirms on Turshid when they receive your payment.
  • Keep your receipts and the provider's invoices.

5. Access and safety

Give the provider safe access to the site at the agreed times and tell them about any known hazards, such as electrical faults or roof damage.

6. Cancellation and completion

  • You can cancel a request before any milestone has been created.
  • Once milestones exist, finish the job by marking the project as complete; milestones that were not approved are then shown as cancelled.
  • Any disagreement about the work or payments is settled between you and the provider. Turshid can help you communicate but is not responsible for the outcome.

7. Communication and reviews

  • Use Turshid messages for project communication and treat providers with respect.
  • Reviews must be honest and based on your real experience.

8. Liability

Turshid is not liable for the quality of the work, delays, damage or losses caused by a provider. Warranties for workmanship and equipment are given by the provider and the manufacturer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, you will be asked to accept the new version before your next request.

For providers using the Turshid marketplace in the Sultanate of Oman.

1. Parties and Acceptance

These Service Provider Terms & Conditions (“Provider Terms”) govern use of the Turshid website, platform, applications and related services (“Platform”) by a business or professional service provider (“Provider”, “you”). The Platform is operated by Turshid in the Sultanate of Oman (“Turshid”, “we”, “us”).

By registering, clicking acceptance, maintaining a profile, responding to a request or otherwise using the Platform as a Provider, you agree to these Provider Terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable Platform policies.

2. Turshid’s Marketplace Role

Turshid operates a digital marketplace connecting customers with independent providers in categories including solar, EV charging, energy audits and consultancy. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Turshid is not the installer, engineer, auditor, consultant, contractor, seller or employer of the Provider.

A quotation, scope, appointment, installation, consultancy engagement or other service contract is between the Provider and the customer. The Provider is responsible for its advice, design, engineering, permits, approvals, safety, workmanship, products, personnel, warranties, invoices, taxes and performance.

Nothing creates a partnership, agency, employment, franchise or joint venture between Turshid and the Provider.

3. Eligibility, Licensing and Verification

The Provider must be lawfully established and authorised to conduct the relevant activity in Oman and must keep its CR, licences, approvals, permits, competent-person requirements and insurance current.

Where relevant, the Provider must supply evidence of DCRP, Environment Authority, utility, professional, municipal or other approvals and immediately notify Turshid of expiry, suspension, restriction or cancellation.

Turshid may verify information using public registers, authorities or reasonable third-party methods. Verification does not make Turshid responsible for the Provider’s compliance, quality or performance.

Turshid may refuse, suspend or remove a listing where information is inaccurate/unverifiable or continued listing presents legal, safety, consumer-protection or reputational risk.

4. Provider Profile and Content

The Provider is responsible for all profile information, photographs, logos, certificates, project references, claims and pricing indications. Content must be accurate, lawful, current, non-misleading and non-infringing.

The Provider grants Turshid a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence during participation to host, reproduce, format and display supplied content for operating and marketing the Platform and the Provider’s services.

The Provider must not describe itself as “Turshid approved”, “guaranteed by Turshid” or equivalent unless Turshid has expressly authorised that wording.

5. Customer Requests and Data

Turshid may notify Providers of customer requests based on category, geography, capacity, profile data and other marketplace criteria. Turshid does not guarantee a minimum number, value, quality or conversion rate of requests.

Customer information may be used only to evaluate, quote for and perform the requested service and for other lawful purposes permitted under applicable data-protection law. It must not be sold, scraped, disclosed or used for unrelated direct marketing without a lawful basis and any required consent.

Providers should respond promptly. Turshid may measure response time, activity and fulfilment and may reduce visibility of repeatedly unresponsive Providers.

6. Quotations, Pricing and Customer Contracts

Quotations must clearly state scope, exclusions, assumptions, total price, taxes, validity, expected programme, warranty and payment terms. Providers must not use hidden mandatory charges, misleading headline prices or bait pricing.

Technical recommendations must be made by appropriately competent personnel and comply with applicable Omani laws, standards, codes, permits, utility and authority requirements.

The Provider must issue the customer appropriate written contractual/invoice documentation and provide Arabic information where mandatory under Omani law.

Material scope or price changes require customer agreement before additional chargeable work, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

7. Founding Provider Free Period and Future Commission

Eligible Founding Providers may register and use the applicable Turshid marketplace services without Turshid platform commission for the first six (6) months of the promotional period identified by Turshid.

After the free period, Turshid may introduce a success-based percentage commission on completed business generated through Turshid. The percentage is intentionally not fixed in these Provider Terms at launch.

Turshid will notify the Provider of the proposed commission rate, the calculation basis, payment trigger and effective date at least thirty (30) days before that commission begins to apply. Where acceptance is legally or contractually required, the Provider must accept the updated commercial terms before continuing to use the relevant paid service.

No commission may be applied retrospectively to a transaction completed during the free period unless the Provider expressly agreed otherwise in advance.

Before introducing a commission, Turshid should define whether it is calculated on amounts excluding VAT, government/utility charges, financing costs, refunds and other pass-through items, and should specify treatment of staged payments, cancellations and refunds.

8. Lead Attribution and Anti-Circumvention

Where future commission applies, a customer first introduced to the Provider through Turshid may be treated as a Turshid-originated lead for the protection period stated in the then-current commercial terms.

The Provider must not deliberately move a Turshid-originated transaction off-platform solely to avoid an agreed Turshid fee. Any anti-circumvention provision will be applied only as stated in the applicable commercial terms and subject to Omani law.

Providers may be required to update lead status accurately, including quoted, won, lost, cancelled and completed status, for marketplace operation and agreed fee calculation.

9. Provider Performance and Consumer Protection

The Provider must perform services with due skill, care, safety and professionalism, honour legally binding warranties and representations, and comply with mandatory consumer rights.

The Provider must not discriminate unlawfully, harass customers, manipulate reviews, submit fabricated project references or engage in deceptive conduct.

Turshid may investigate complaints, request documents, pause lead distribution, suspend a profile or terminate access where reasonably necessary.

10. Payments

Unless Turshid expressly offers an integrated payment service, customer payments are made under the Provider-customer contract and Turshid does not hold customer funds.

If Turshid later processes payments, the applicable payment terms will identify the payment provider, settlement, refunds, chargebacks and fees and will use payment arrangements compliant with applicable Omani requirements, including the E-Commerce Regulation.

11. Reviews and Ratings

Customers may be permitted to leave reviews. Providers must not offer undisclosed incentives for positive reviews, submit fake reviews or threaten customers over reviews.

Turshid may moderate content for legality, relevance, authenticity and policy compliance but does not guarantee that every review is accurate.

12. Intellectual Property and Platform Restrictions

Turshid and its licensors retain rights in the Platform, brand, software, design, databases and content not supplied by the Provider.

Providers must not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, interfere with, bypass security of, automate access to or misuse the Platform except as expressly permitted by law or written agreement.

13. Confidentiality

Each party must protect non-public commercial, technical and customer information received through the relationship and use it only for the permitted purpose, subject to lawful disclosure obligations.

14. Data Protection and Security

Each party must comply with applicable Omani personal-data requirements for data it controls. Providers must implement appropriate security, limit access to authorised personnel and notify Turshid promptly of any suspected breach affecting Turshid/customer data.

Turshid’s separate Privacy Policy should explain categories of personal data, purposes, lawful bases/consents where applicable, recipients, cross-border transfers, retention, data-subject rights, cookies and contact details.

15. Insurance, Indemnity and Liability

The Provider should maintain insurance appropriate to its activities and risks, including legally required insurance and, where appropriate, public liability, professional indemnity and worker/employer cover.

To the extent permitted by Omani law, the Provider is responsible for claims, losses, penalties and third-party liabilities arising from its unlawful conduct, negligence, services, personnel, products, intellectual-property infringement or breach of these Terms.

Turshid does not exclude or limit liability where such exclusion/limitation is prohibited by law. Subject to mandatory law, Turshid is not responsible for the Provider’s workmanship, professional advice, products, delays or customer contract.

16. Suspension and Termination

Either party may stop participating subject to outstanding obligations. Turshid may immediately suspend access for suspected fraud, safety risk, expired licence, material misrepresentation, misuse of customer data, serious complaint or legal/regulatory requirement.

Termination does not remove accrued payment, confidentiality, data-protection, intellectual-property, dispute or other provisions intended to survive.

17. Changes to Terms

Turshid may update these Terms for legal, regulatory, security, operational or commercial reasons. Material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance. Changes introducing a future commission will follow Section 7.

18. Complaints and Provider Support

Provider support/complaints may be submitted to letsconnect@turshid.com. Turshid will maintain an internal complaint process and records appropriate to applicable e-commerce requirements.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Provider Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written escalation. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or agreed arbitration clause inserted after legal advice, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman.

Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief or exercising mandatory statutory/regulatory rights.

20. General

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited/severed to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remainder. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. The Provider may not transfer its account or obligations without Turshid’s written consent. Electronic notices and acceptances may be used to the extent permitted by Omani law.

Legal Framework Considered

These Terms are intended to operate subject to mandatory laws and regulatory requirements applicable in the Sultanate of Oman, including where applicable:

  • Consumer Protection Law issued by Royal Decree 66/2014 and applicable implementing requirements.
  • Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree 6/2022 and its Executive Regulation issued by Ministerial Decision 34/2024.
  • Electronic Transactions Law issued by Royal Decree 39/2025.
  • E-Commerce Regulation issued by Ministerial Decision 499/2023.
  • Applicable VAT/tax, commercial registration, advertising, telecommunications, cybersecurity, professional licensing, electricity, environmental, municipal and other sector-specific requirements.

If these Terms conflict with a mandatory provision of Omani law, the mandatory provision prevails and the remaining provisions continue to the fullest extent permitted by law.
